St Hildas School

MFL Day

St Hilda’s experienced a taste of Spanish and French culture on our MFL Day – quite literally! Starting with croissants and pains au chocolat for breakfast, the girls had a fantastic time during the themed day, learning about Spanish and French artists such as Dali and Seurat. The Lower School girls enjoyed the activities in the morning, making masks and even moustaches, and learning a song. The Upper School girls carried on through the afternoon and eventually gave an assembly to the rest of the school about what they had learned over the course of the day. The artwork produced was stunning; the girls had clearly worked very hard and been inspired by the artists they were studying. It was delightful to hear one pupil commenting, “I’m having a really, really good day!”
