St Hildas School

Dancing for a good cause!

The school danced its heart out to raise money for the work of the NSPCC

A sponsored danceathon was held at the school, and every hour on the hour everyone in the school stopped to dance the Macerana, Cha Cha Slide and 5,6,7,8.  Everyone danced ever so enthusiastically for such a good cause and the school managed to raise a total of £3866.77.  This is one of the largest donations the NSPCC has received from a school and the money will be put towards training two people for their Child Line service.

What a great achievement - well done to the girls for raising such an enormous amount!
