Forms 5 & 6 French Trip

Pupils from Forms 5 and 6 had a wonderful experience staying in a manor in Argueil. They had lots of opportunities to practise their French by asking the price of things in the market, buying sweets in Rouen and chatting with their French pen pals. The girls spent a morning at a local school, made bread and a wheat heart at a farm, walked round Rouen and visited the Joan of Arc museum. They also ordered drinks in a café, had fun on the beach and got lost in the largest natural maze in Europe. The girls’ confidence grew massively throughout the trip and they all had a brilliant time. Thank you to Mrs Woodhouse, Mrs Dillon and Mrs Longman, who gave so freely of their time to ensure the girls had this fabulous opportunity.
