Elfing Around for a Good Cause!
It was a very special week at St Hilda’s, as we held our first ‘Elf Day’ to support the Alzheimer’s Society. The children and staff came into school dressed as elves and took part in some exciting games and activities throughout the day. From a welly throw, where children had to throw a welly as far as they could, a relay filled with challenging obstacles and a tricky elf treasure hunt there was plenty of fun had on the day.
The event, which was organised by our school council representatives, helped get the whole school into the Christmas spirit all whilst raising money for a great charity. In total the school raised just over £370, and the Alzheimer’s Society were extremely grateful for this incredible donation.
