2024 Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) Report
We are delighted and very proud to be able to share with you our latest Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) Report following our inspection in February. Under the new ISI inspection framework that came into effect on 1 September 2023, reports no longer provide overall one word judgements but now identify whether or not schools meet the required standards.
We are extremely pleased that the inspection team felt the school met all the required standards.
Some key highlights from the report include:
- "St Hilda's School is a stimulating and exciting learning environment where leaders have created a safe place for children to learn and be happy."
- "Pupils' developmental needs are at the heart of their thinking."
- "Teaching enables all pupils to acquire new knowledge and make good and sometimes rapid progress."
- "Pupils consistently display their happiness at being at the school and value the opportunities leaders provide."
- "Pupils regularly read for pleasure."
- "Pupils show high levels of empathy."
- "Owing to constant encouragement and high expectations from teachers, pupils articulate their thoughts well in lessons and discussions."
- "Pupils, including children in the early years, enjoy a variety of activities and visits and thus develop both recreational and life skills."
