Form 2 presented an entertaining assembly about Roald Dahl and his books, explaining some of his writing methods and talking about their favourite books. They came up with some ingenious ideas for new chocolate bars, inspired by Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and even shared what tricks they would play on Miss Trunchbull if they were in her school! They then performed short excerpts from some of Roald Dahl’s stories and invited the audience to guess which books they were from. Miss Styles congratulated the girls for their hard work, saying, “We all enjoy Roald Dahl books because they transport us to a magical world, and you certainly transported us to a magical world this morning.”
