Form 2 Verulamium Trip

Form 2 visited the Verulamium Museum as part of their topic work on the Romans. The day started with the girls being given a typical Roman name and outfit to wear for their market session. This involved shopping for pottery, food, clothes and jewellery in small groups,  and comparing the Roman lifestyle to their own.  The girls also enjoyed  exploring the gallery and learnt a great deal about various artefacts which were discovered during the excavations of Verulamium in the 1930s.
