Miss Beckett, Mrs Longman and Miss Styles had the pleasure of accompanying Form 3 on their trip to Highclere Castle in Hampshire on Thursday 21st January. The pupils were taken on a tour of the imposing stately home, which is still the residence of the Earl and Countess of Carnarvon (and is best known as ITV’s Downton Abbey), saw the Egyptian Exhibition, and enjoyed workshops and educational activities. One pupil shared that her favourite moment of the day was when the girls dressed up in Egyptian-style clothing.
