Form 3 Trip to Reveley Lodge

Reveley Lodge welcomed St Hilda’s pupils for our annual visit this week. Mr Kang reported, “Form 3 travelled back in time and donned their Victorian smocks on their morning trip to Reveley Lodge. The girls were very well looked after by volunteers at the grade II listed house full of fascinating stories and historical artefacts. The hands on experience didn’t stop there as the girls were put through their paces in an authentic Victorian lesson. And there was no time to rest as there were scullery maid duties to be completed afterwards! Fortunately their reward for such hard work was a proper afternoon tea—complete with Victoria sponge, of course.”
