Form 6 Upcycling Assembly
Form 6 have been working incredibly hard on their upcycling project over the past half term. It started with a charity shop visit back in early February where the children had to pick a garment or garments to make alterations to in their Creative lessons, as part of a textiles project. They have been sewing, glueing and cutting to create their fabulous final pieces. Thank you to the guidance of Mrs Rosewall, Mrs Browne, Mrs Sullivan and Mrs Boughen. During their computing lessons, Form 6 wrote their introduction that was read out, created a logo for their company and produce a mood board that was shown whilst they strutted down the catwalk.
The project culminated on the catwalk, after the girls had hosted their parents for lunch in the dining room, where each girl wowed the crowd, received cheers and whoops for their phenomenal efforts and charisma down the runway. Whilst in their final class pose, you could really hear the appreciation from the crowd for the models and their designs. Congratulations to Form 6, you should be incredibly proud of yourselves!
