Kindness Week
It’s been ‘Kindness Week’ at St Hilda’s and the girls have approached their kindness activities during the week with great enthusiasm.
The girls have learnt the importance of being kind to themselves, to others and to the environment. We’ve had a ‘Kindness Tree’, which has been a great success as the girls have made it flourish with leaves recorded with acts of kindness they have experienced or witnessed at school.
Morning and end of day relaxation exercises have also proven to be a great hit with the girls as they learn to be kind to themselves!
It’s been a wonderful refresher in kindness for everyone and to keep the spirit of kindness going, the school has become an accredited Kindness School through the ‘Kindness Movement’. This movement promotes the importance of kindness within our society and we’re proud to be a part of it as encouraging kindness has always been and will continue to remain a constant in the daily life of St Hilda’s.
