Lauren St John Visit

The Upper School were excited to meet one of their favourite authors this week: Lauren St John. She had them enthralled by stories and photos about growing up in Zimbabwe, and of the animals that she rescued and had as pets, as well as talking about her new book Kat Wolfe Investigates.

Lauren is the founder of authors4oceans, which is great website full of ideas about how we can all make small changes to help save the environment. She also does work for the Born Free Foundation. Lauren spoke of the importance of visiting the settings of her books and being inspired to write by interesting newspaper articles, so keep your eyes peeled girls and read the papers.
