Reception pupils amazed their parents, teachers and peers with an innovative assembly, using a circus theme to explain about the six ‘thinking hats’. The spectators were stunned as clowns, acrobats and even lions and bears came to life in the Whitby Hall. Miss Styles praised the assembly, thanking the girls for their hard work and for getting the message of the ‘thinking hats’ across so originally and effectively through the use of poetry.
