The best possible start in life...
In a bright and airy setting, with a dedicated outdoor play area, our youngest children are encouraged to play, explore and learn, under the watchful and inspiring care of specialist staff.
There are two classes... Boys and girls can join us in 'Hummingbirds' from their second birthday, gaining in confidence and inquisitiveness. They then move on to 'Kookaburras', for the all-important pre-school year, led by qualified early years teachers, where children are prepared to move on into 'big school'.
We understand that there is a big difference between a two year old toddler, and a four year old pre-schooler, thus our packed programmes of teacher and child-led activities are especially designed to develop the whole child in ways appealing and appropriate to their current age and stage.
The nursery benefits from the wealth of knowledge and experience within the prep school, and the children share many of the school's specialist teachers, in subjects such as Music and PE.
As the children move into their pre-school year, they are also offered lessons in Spanish, French, Swimming and Forest School.
Meals are prepared from scratch on the premises, by the school's highly trained chef, and we can cater for all kinds of dietary requirements.
We know that our daughter is happy and secure at school: After she has said goodbye in the mornings, she doesn’t look back. She settled in very quickly and that was possible because of the welcoming, family atmosphere.
The nursery is open from 07.30 until 18.30 for 40 weeks of the year as of July 2019. Parents can choose from a range of sessions – mornings, afternoons, school days and full days according to availability.
It is advisable to register your interest as early as possible as the deadline for applying is generally the autumn before the academic year of entry i.e. the autumn before the academic year in which they reach their second birthday.
