The Lower School House Debate was a hard act to follow but the Upper School definitely rose to the challenge on Tuesday. The girls debated passionately about their topics and presented their arguments confidently, demonstrating that they had spent significant time preparing their speeches. The judges were particularly impressed with how the girls referred to topical discussion and used factual evidence to support their arguments. They also commented upon the level of the language used by the girls to emphasise their points. Attlee House were the eventual winners, closely followed by Whitby, then Herkomer.
